HOTEL INFORMATION

Karafuu Beach resort is located on the East Coast of Zanzibar, approximately 65km from Stone Town.  Karafuu was built on 7 hectares of beautiful tropical garden and opened in 1995 and is an International 5-star hotel.  The buildings were thoughtfully designed to blend in with the environment and were built with local materials (roofs made of makuti and the walls of coral).

Karafuu Beach resort offers you the choice of 3 restaurants, main buffet restaurant, "Le Grand Bleu" a la carte restaurant and the floating restaurant for a private dinner on the Indian Ocean.

Karafuu Beach resort is perfect for a romantic tropical Island getaway, or a family vacation.  Children under the age of 12 years traveling with parents will receive a special discounter rate if sharing a room with there parents.  It is also a good choice for corporate groups as the conference room can accommodate up to 150 people.  This resort is very popular and it is recommended to book well in advance to be accommodated, especially in the June ~ September and December ~ February high season.  The meal plan for this resort start on a half board (breakfast and dinner) basis, and can be upgraded to a full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and an all inclusive package.
