HOTEL INFORMATION

Mapenzi Beach Club is set on the North/Eastern Coast of Zanzibar Island on the Kiwengwa shoreline.  Mapenzi Beach Club perfectly blends in the natural environment of the surrounding landscape, covering an area of 4 hectares blessed with a long white beach and tropical gardens of palms and colourful bougainvillea.  Mapenzi Beach Club lies 45 km from Stone Town, only 40 minutes drive by road from Zanzibar International Airport, and is a perfect choice for guest in search of a retreat that offer a good mixture of relax, laziness and all inclusive service.

THE ALL INCLUSIVE CONCEPT:
Mapenzi Beach Club offers only all inclusive packages that include the following services:

• Breakfast, lunch and dinner

• Soft drinks, mineral water, wine, beer, cocktails, local spirits, coffee and tea

• Snacks

• Water sports activities; canoe, windsurfing – beginners equipment, catamaran with instructor

ROOMS AT HOTEL

Mapenzi Beach Club offers 87 spacious and comfortable bungalows charmingly furnished in traditional East Africa style built on 3 different levels.  All rooms are the same with the Superior Garden rooms located in Mapenzi’s garden with a Garden view; the Superior Sea Facing rooms are located in the middle with the Deluxe Beach Front located on the Beach front.  All the rooms have a large private veranda.

All the rooms are large enough for another single bed or baby cot that converts the room into a triple room (3 people in 1 room), but not big enough for 4 or more people to sleep in.  For a family of 4 people the Superior Sea Facing rooms have 12 rooms that are interconnecting.  Discounted rates are available for 1 child sharing a room with 2 parents. Wi-Fi internet facilities (at charge) are available in the Deluxe Beach Front rooms.

RESTAURANTS AND BARS:

Main restaurant - Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at buffet with a Swahili corner offering local dishes and flavours.  The cuisine is international and evening dinners at themed.  African Dinner once a week on the beach.
Nakupenda Pizzeria - Set neat the beach, open for dinner.  Dining is included in the all-inclusive package once per stay.
Suli Suli a’la carte restaurant - Set directly on the beach serves seafood specialties under small gazebos in a very romantic environment.  Dinner require reservation and is at charge.
Pool Bar - Serves snacks, soft drinks, fruit juices, beer, cocktails, house wine, tea and coffee.  Spirits and long drinks are available from 6 pm till midnight.  After midnight all drinks are at charge.  Premium brand liquors are available at charge.
Beach Bar - Serves snacks, soft drinks, fruit juices, beer, house wine, tea and coffee till 6pm.
Alif Laila - Open in the evening serves shisha, Arabic coffee and tea at charge
